EC020-Fireside Chat with Sarah Schonert and Kees de Groot

Start the new year with a fireside chat with Sarah Schonert and Kees de Groot. They talk about their 15 December, 2015, simultaneous releases of companion EPs, The Kees Files and Sarahdipity respectively. They discuss the details and play each track of their EPs.

Sarah and Kees created original or strongly modified preset banks for each other using instruments based on physical modeling from Applied Acoustics Systems, such as Chromaphone, Ultra Analog VA2, Lounge Lizard, and String Studio VS2. They then independently created original compositions using these provided banks of presets.

EC005-Nondrian

In this Bonus Eclectrocast we feature music from a band @isotherme and @groovehare played in between 2003 and 2006, called Nondrian (USA).

These tracks were recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubs, mixed and mastered in New Paltz, NY in 2005:

Which is More, Sunday Song, Paper Animals, Use Me, and Starting Over.

All songs are group compositions. This podcast also features a sixth bonus track, which is a jam, from which eventually Use Me was created. We thought you might find it interesting to hear the raw recording and the moments of creation.
