This podcast features Eclectrocasts' own Isotherme (Jeff Kirn) interviewed by co-hosts Kees de Groot (Roofhare) and EC Digital Kitchen Chef Kim Rueger (Belly Full Of Stars). We spoke with Isotherme about his upcoming and much anticipated album Silence of the Second Voice. Isotherme is a multi-instrumentalist who describes his music as Electronic Ghost Ambient Sound Collages. His music is characterized by complex layered sound carpets with melodic lines varying from tender to haunting. Isotherme is a thoughtful and crafty composer in the tradition of minimalists who employs the structural complexity of jazz as well with great effect.
Silence of the Second Voice follows the release of the successful album Nail and can be purchased starting February 22 on Isotherme's Bandcamp website: https://isotherme.bandcamp.com/
The interview was conducted on 31 January 2016 via Skype.
